Funky Teapots

Class Information

The teapot is a multifaceted form. The body of the pot, the handle, the lid all make up the unique piece of pottery. You will learn how to construct each part using clay slabs. We will also explore surface decoration techniques using under glaze transfers, carving and clay additions. You will gain knowledge and helpful tips to use on all your pottery projects. This is a three visit project. A light snack will be provided the first meeting. No prior clay making experience required.

Cancellation Policy

If you are not able to attend and cancel 14 days prior to classes starting, you will receive a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee. If it is past the 14 day period, you'll have a full credit towards a future class. If you would like to schedule a makeup session, the cost is $20 per hour.
